Valerie Siu

Valerie is naturally empathetic and has always been a people person. Her down-to-earth personality and attentive listening skills allow her to easily connect with clients in a professional and supportive manner. With over eight years of experience in the legal field, she brings a broad skill set to her role as Paralegal at England Lam Family Law. She has extensive knowledge in a wide range of practice areas including business, corporate, tax, and real estate law, which all complement the family practice. As family issues are multi-faceted, Valerie’s knowledge and experience in other pertinent areas of law adds invaluable depth to the firm.

Valerie plays a central role at England Lam Family Law. Her responsibilities are comprehensive, including office management, day-to-day client and file management, and legal support such as drafting and preparation of agreements and court forms. A perfectionist, and an efficient multi-tasker with a keen eye for detail, Valerie's values for efficiency and accuracy allow her to work closely alongside lawyers to ensure clients’ needs are met.

Valerie obtained her Paralegal Certificate from Capilano University in 2017 in addition to her Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Psychology and minor in English Literature from the University of British Columbia. She is a voting member of the British Columbia Paralegal Association. When Valerie is not busy working in the office, she plays competitive dodgeball and enjoys travelling and trying out new foods with her husband.
